The Alaska salmon are starting to run, and just in time for the peak fishing season, we have new shipping options to make your fish fly.
From June 12 through mid-August, we will deploy Hawaiian Airlines widebody aircraft between Anchorage (ANC) and Seattle (SEA) twice a day, adding tens of thousands of pounds of belly cargo capacity between the state of Alaska and a key Pacific Northwest hub in our growing 130-city global network.
Our Alaska Airlines aircraft will also fly at least 18 nonstops between Anchorage and Seattle every day and will offer daily service to 13 more destinations, including Chicago (ORD), New York (JFK) and Portland (PDX) — and new nonstop service to Detroit (DTW).

The expanded passenger aircraft flights supplement our dedicated freighters linking remote communities across the state of Alaska with Seattle every day — and extending to Los Angeles three nights a week. Check our freighter schedule.
“The Alaska and Hawaiian Air cargo teams have done a ton of work to ensure we’re maximizing opportunities to grow cargo everywhere we fly. Utilizing the widebody fleet on new markets unlocks significant cargo potential, which allows us to diversify what we offer the communities we serve.” — Ian Morgan, Alaska Airlines vice president of cargo
With our new international long-haul service every day between Seattle and Tokyo Narita (NRT) on Hawaiian Airlines A330s, we are streamlining shipping access to markets around the world. Next fall, we will also launch nonstop flights between Seattle and Seoul Incheon (ICN), with more international markets coming online in the near future.
