New seasonal routes: We’re flying south – more frequently – for the winter

We are adding several nonstop flights across the country and between the U.S. and Mexico starting in December and January, creating new shipping options for the busy winter season.

Our daily service between Portland (PDX) and New Orleans (MSY) starts Monday, January 6, connecting the heart of the Pacific Northwest with the Crescent City. Our new Boise (BOI)–Orlando (MCO) flights start January 7. As the only major passenger airline based on the West Coast, we are proud to offer more nonstop flights from the West Coast across the country than any other carrier.

We are also adding regional service from San Diego (SAN) to Reno (RNO), giving us 40 destinations from San Diego — more than any airline.

Dedicated freighter service gets a lift, too.

During the holiday season, Santa’s newest helper will be our overnight freighter service between Anchorage (ANC) and Los Angeles (LAX) via Seattle (SEA), which will increase to three times a week: Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. And in January, we will add freighter capacity for Kodiak (ADQ), increasing the Anchorage-Kodiak frequency to three times a week.
